Clara doctor who12/30/2023 What do you think would have happened if a companion betrayed the Ninth, Tenth or Eleventh Doctors the way Clara did? Leave your ideas in the comments below.Twice Upon a Time was the 2017 Christmas Special of Doctor Who. Another Doctor would not have been so accommodating. I could see him leaving her stranded on a deserted island or even a deserted planet in revenge for her actions.Ĭlara was very lucky the Twelfth Doctor, for all his cold hearted callousness, forgave her and still felt the need to help her despite her ill-advised actions. He might have even been more vengeful than the others and not return her home when he kicked her out of the TARDIS. Eleven was the Doctor who didn’t save Amy and Rory and who allowed his wife, River Song, to go to prison for her entire life for a crime she did not commit. When Eleven turned on you, he did so without remorse and without a second thought. As much as Eleven was the most jovial and whimsical of all the Doctors in the reboot, he could also be the coldest. But while the Twelfth Doctor cared and forgave Clara, I am not sure Eleven would have. Eleven had by the closest relationship to Clara and he showed how much he cared for her on multiple occasions. He is the only other Doctor that actually met Clara (not counting Ten and the War Doctor in “Day of the Doctor” because they would end up forgetting meeting her). The Eleventh Doctor is the toughest one to determine. But Ten would likely never let her forget her lapse in judgment and ridicule her about it until she left on her own. Perhaps he would have let Clara stay on as a companion if she repented. Ten was the “arrogant hero” and might have been tempted to try to save Danny if Clara had asked him in a genuine way, however, her actions would likely have caused him to end up not saving Danny. The Tenth Doctor also placed a great deal emphasis on loyalty and would have devastated by the betrayal. At the very least he would have kicked her out of the TARDIS and crossed her out of his life forever. There is no way in my mind he would have helped Clara. Nine had little sympathy for humans and did not suffer fools or foolishness. He was a no nonsense man “born in war.” Of all the Doctors since the reboot, Nine was the hardest individual and likely would reacted the swiftest to rid himself of Clara. The Ninth Doctor would not have been kind to Clara. David Tennant: Returning to Doctor Who is a “victory lap, in a way”.Doctor Who is right about the nature of time, according to a real astrophysicist. When Ncuti Gatwa accidentally told Matt Smith he was playing the new Doctor.David Tennant “excited” about returning to Doctor Who.Doctor Who characters sing “Barbie Girl” in fan edit, because why not?.But how would the Ninth, Tenth or Eleventh Doctors have handled such blatant betrayal of trust? Then he surprisingly decides to help Clara by having the TARDIS travel to the afterlife to find Danny there. He ends up orchestrating the whole thing as a hallucination of Clara’s mind with the help of the TARDIS. The Doctor, however, is clever enough to figure out what is going to happen and turns the tables on Clara. The Doctor refuses to back in time to save Danny for fear of causing a paradox and Clara ends up destroying all the keys to the TARDIS by throwing them into the lava effectively sealing their doom. Danny having been killed in a car accident in the beginning of the episode. Her plan is to use a sleep patch on the Doctor and then ambush him to force him to take her to save Danny Pink. She gathers up all the keys to the TARDIS and coerces the Doctor to take her and the TARDIS inside a volcano. In the latest episode of Doctor Who, “Dark Water” Clara betrays the Doctor.
